2 Nights of Carol Singing + Midnight Karaoke Party
22nd Dec 2007
We visited 4 places. Our first stop after practicing at Pastor's house was Golden Legacy Hotel. We were there abt 8.30pm. It was nice for the Hotel Management to prepare some finger food for us after. There were samosas, chicken wrapped in pandan leaves, chicken nuggets, and karipuffs. Our next stop was at Bro Kok's house. Again there were food. Then Aunty Lynn's house. Wow... they had a crowd there and they had plenty of food there. And lastly we went to Alan's house and it was already 11pm+ haha. We sang the carols, decicated baby Dalayney (daughter of Darian and Jenny). After that we had more finger food... chicken wings were yummy. haha.
Our second night of Carolling. We went to 2 places; Bro Simon's house and Bro Michael's house. It was nice to see Bro Simon inviting his neighbours over for the makan and carols. Aunty Ge gave a short sharing in chinese about God's love. After that, makan time... yummy food. I love the spaghetti and man, I love her cheesecake! So so yummy! Next was Mike's house... we dedicated Mike's and Jean's baby; Joel. And again, there were so much food. We were already so full from the previous house. Somehow, the carollers named me the Nugget King... haha maybe coz I was mainly attacking the nuggets... haha.
Ok.... we finished abt left Mike's place abt 11.20pm.
KARAOKE TIME (at the early mornings of Christmas Eve... 24th Dec!)
We had a wonderful time of Karaoke-ing last nite. We started at 12am and ended by 3.30am. haha.... hope our neighbours didnt mind. LOL... but yeah .... 3.5 hours of pure FUN. We just could get enough of it! haha.... truely a great time of fellowship and everyone had great fun!

Warming up
On our feet...
The night started slow but later everyone got excited and we all wanted to keep the ratings (score of our singing) high. The first few songs we were struggling to get 90%+ but later, as we got warmed up and more pumped, we managed to to score over 90% for quite a number of songs. The highest we achieve was 97%.
John showing us his cha cha moves. Boy he can really groove. haha.
We sang a mixture of Chinese (thank God for HanYuPin Yin) and English songs.
We ended the night with Terence leading with the song "My Way"
A very enjoyable night indeed! Really had a great time and much fun. Im so gonna miss everyone here in Melaka when I leave for Australia in 3 days time!
